Charlie Bard trained as a chef before picking up a camera. That background shapes everything: a working knowledge of how food comes together, and an instinct for when a shot is ready.
Based in London, he shoots food and drink for restaurants, brands, and advertising agencies — studio still life, location editorial, and social content. Work has appeared in Vogue, Time Out, The Guardian, and The Daily Mail.
Recent projects include two published cookbooks: Seasons: A Taste of Cowdray for the Cowdray Estate (launched at Fortnum & Mason, 2025) and Quick Prep Slow Cook by Charlotte Pike (Hamlyn, 2024). Commercial campaigns for Five Guys, Pasta Evangelists, and Simply Lunch.
